Stereotaxis’ goal is to enable physicians to perform all cath lab procedures, including highly complex ones, simply, safely and efficiently. Utilizing advanced magnetic technology and remote computer control, physicians have the ability to precisely navigate devices throughout the heart. By directing the procedure through the user-friendly computer interface, the physician is automatically controlling the motion of the Magnetic Navigation System and the C-arm of the digital fluoroscopy system with which we are fully integrated all from the safety of the control room. This interface allows physicians to move devices with simple "point and click” and “joystick“ tools. An additional touch screen user interface is located next to the patient table for specific procedural needs.

Stereotaxis’ goal is to become the standard of care for routine and complex electrophysiology procedures, for left lead placement in cardiac resynchronization therapy and for highly complex interventional cardiology procedures, including CTO recanalization. As such, we are dedicated to working with physicians to implement physician-initiated improvements and innovations, to provide comprehensive training and support, and to collaborate in clinical research initiatives and data capture with the intention of validating our value to physicians, their patients and hospitals.

Training

In order for physicians, hospitals and patients to obtain the full benefit of our computerized procedure technology, it is critical to ensure physicians are appropriately trained and supported regarding the use of the Magnetic Navigation System. Therefore, significant resources are dedicated to Stereotaxis’ training and education program. Specific activities include onsite training, live-case experience, instruction conducted by physician proctors, and the use of reference sites as training centers. Initial feedback indicates that for many procedures, including ablation, the learning curve for our system is substantially shorter than manual techniques that have been developed over an experience base of thousands of procedures.

Service & Support

Understanding Stereotaxis’ Magnetic Navigation System technology is critical to ensuring the most effective operative functionality. For this reason, Stereotaxis provides expert technical, clinical and service support to assist physicians, other technical and clinical staff and hospital administrators with any questions that may arise.
