Prof. Petr Neuzil

Nemocnice Na Homolce

In comparison with previously used classic, manually performed procedures, catheterization ablation of very complex cardiac arrhythmias can be performed more accurately and effectively using the Stereotaxis system.

Professor Petr Neuzil took part in celebrating 100k patients treated using RMN! As we commemorated our 100K procedure milestone in 2017, Nemocnice Na Homolce in Prague, where Prof. Neuzil serves as the Chair of Cardiology, also celebrated 10 years using Stereotaxis technology. In 2007, the hospital – the largest Czech institution for the treatment of heart rhythm disorders – introduced a technology that has “brought hope to a number of patients whose normal treatment of arrhythmia failed,” it recently wrote.

Prof. Neuzil is one of four primary Stereotaxis users that together have conducted almost 2,000 magnetic ablation procedures, particularly in patients with congenital heart defects and life-threatening VT. “In comparison with previously used classic, manually performed procedures, catheterization ablation of very complex cardiac arrhythmias can be performed more accurately and effectively using the Stereotaxis system,” says Prof. Neuzil.

Congratulations to all on this impressive achievement!
