Bird, Johnson and Jordan, meet the other dream team of Kongstad, Yuan and Jensen. This trio from The University Hospital of Lund has been an unstoppable force in bringing robotic ablation to the people of Sweden since 2011. Dr. Ole Kongstad says the system gives him the opportunity to perform procedures on patients who otherwise would remain untreated due to manual limitations, citing the example of a patient with a total pulmonary shunt – not a normal candidate for ablation – that he successfully treated using RMN.

Dr. Shiwen Yuan led the first published study comparing long-term outcomes with the latest generation Stereotaxis system to manual navigation for AF ablation, which found reduced fluoroscopy and significantly improved clinical outcomes in the Stereotaxis patient group.
