“It’s amazing how far EP has come,” says Dr. Dave Mehta, Director of Cardiac EP at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s hospital in New York. When he began practicing more than 40 years ago, it was all diagnostic; “there weren’t even ablations,” he says. Technology is not just a young man’s game in the case of Dr. Mehta, who has embraced robotic ablation and encouraged every operator at St. Luke’s to utilize Stereotaxis RMN for complex ventricular arrhythmias.
