Dr. Konrad Goehl

Klinikum Nürnberg Süd

My team and I have performed over 1,300 procedures using RMN, treating patients with all kinds of arrhythmias, including those that can’t be treated conventionally.

In 1993, Dr. Konrad Goehl established the EP department at Klinikum Nürnberg Süd in Germany. Some 18 years later, the department began a new chapter with the installation of the Stereotaxis system, which Dr. Goehl says has brought success when other treatments have not. “My team and I have performed over 1,300 procedures using RMN, treating patients with all kinds of arrhythmias, including those that can’t be treated conventionally,” says Dr. Goehl.

With the Stereotaxis system, Dr. Goehl says complication rates are much lower than before the installation, and they have significantly reduced x-ray exposure for patients and physicians.

That’s what you call success!
