So often after a RMN procedure, I think to myself, ‘I never would have gotten that arrhythmia manually’.
New Mexico Heart Institute (NMHI) asks patients to “trust us with your heart.” As the largest private cardiology practice in the state, NMHI cares for over 42,000 patients each year. Patients are known to travel across the state to see Dr. Sean Mazer, NMHI President and Chief EP, and his EP team for treatment. A major draw, says Dr. Mazer, is the Stereotaxis system the team utilizes at the neighboring Heart Hospital of New Mexico.
“So often after a RMN procedure, I think to myself, ‘I never would have gotten that arrhythmia manually,’” says Dr. Mazer. “The precision you get with the Stereotaxis system makes all the difference.” Dr. Mazer says he has found his work in EP incredibly exciting because of the continuous innovation, and it’s clear his patients have benefited.
Thanks for your leadership and passion for the practice of EP, Dr. Mazer!
